The Jackman Junior is Open to Under 16 Surf Lifesaving members (age as at 1 January 2025)

Start to develop your skills to one day compete in the Jackman Classic. Starting at full tide from Mangawhai Tavern travelling to Picnic Bay. The older kids, will continue around Head Rock and back to Picnic Bay (if weather conditions allow)

It is open to all classes of self-powered craft. Skis, Paddleboards, Canoes, SUP’s or whatever you can paddle without a motor or sail.

Saturday, 19 April 2025 @ 12.00pm (Rain day Sunday, 20 April @ 1.00pm)

Arrive: 11.30am. Please allow enough time to get your craft waterside ready for a prompt start.

Briefing: 11.45am

Shotgun Start: 12.00pm

High-vis vests are compulsory
