Surf Club Deed of Lease

Mangawhai Heads Volunteer Lifeguard Service are elated to share that the Kaipara District Council has granted approval of our Surf Club lease for another 33 years. 

We are stoked with this news which enables security for our club so we can continue to uphold our commitment to keeping our beach goers safe for many seasons to come.

We would like to pass on a huge thank you to our members and supporters who have come together and rallied for our club, the aroha shown and offer of help have been what makes our community such an asset. We are very grateful to our local councillors, KDC staff, SLSNZ and SLSNR who helped make this possible. We are on track with the slip repair and our next steps are preparing for the repair of the building and constructing a seawall and boat ramp. 

We look forward to seeing you on the beach!
